25.01

ARTICLE I NAME & AFFILIATIONS

The name of this organization shall be Volunteer Services and Development Directors Round Table of the Oregon Library Association (OLA).

25.012

This organization shall be affiliated with Association of Volunteer Administrators (AVA) and Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).

25.02

ARTICLE II OBJECTIVES

25.021

The purpose of Volunteer Services and Development Directors Round Table of the Oregon Library Association shall be to promote and advance volunteerism and fundraising in libraries across the state. To provide a practical framework for informing, educating, encouraging, and supporting professionals who manage volunteer programs and raise funds for libraries.

25.03

ARTICLE III MEMBERSHIP

25.031

Membership is open to any interested members of the Oregon Library Association.

25.04

ARTICLE IV OFFICERS

25.041

The elected officers shall be a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson/Chairperson-elect, and Secretary to be chosen at the annual business meeting of the Volunteer Services and Development Directors Round Table.

25.05

ARTICLE V MEETINGS

25.051

The annual meeting shall coincide with OLA Conference.

25.052

The Chairperson can call additional meetings.

25.06

ARTICLE VI AMENDMENTS

25.061

Amendments to these by-laws shall be proposed in writing by the officers or by signed petition of twenty-five (25) percent of the members.

25.062

These by-laws shall be amended by a simple majority vote of the members present at an annual business meeting if the proposed amendments have been mailed, emailed, or made available by other electronic means to each active member three (3) weeks prior to the meeting and shall be presented to the OLA Executive Board for approval.
